Authorship
A graphic self-expression in two steps: Catalog and Poster

Project made for the class "Authorship" of Jiri Oplatek, MA HGK, Basel.
The focus of the course was on experimentation and storytelling about ourselves through four techniques: photography, graphic forms, typography, and slogans. It was one of the university projects in which I was able to really experiment freely, without fear of criticism. I used both analog and digital techniques together which made the final product more "material" and personal.

After a first experimental phase of visual production, collected in the catalogue, I selected the visuals that represented me the most and used them as the raw material for the poster.
The real protagonist of my poster is the shape, my fingerprint, my identity. Blurred in the background there is an hidden self-portrait. Middle way my name. I merged these elements together, trying to find a balance that could be playful and reflect the element that are fundamental for our identity: name, fingerprint and face. The typography begins to dissolve in contact with the fingerprint, the color emphasizes this action, creating dynamism.

Somebody said David Lynch inspired my poster, so in this thriller mood, I played with an atmosphere of suspension from reality for the documentation of the poster :)
